On my 2005 SL500, the LED clock is very difficult to see in daylight--particularly with top down. I noticed that in my friends' 2008 SL550, the clock numerals seem to be thicker and easier to read. My clock has always been this way--a design flaw. Does anyone know if I can replace the clock on the car with the 2008 version. Or if I order a replacement clock for my car, will it come with the thicker numerals? Any idea of the replacement part number or cost? Thanks.
