Had my SL600 in the shop for some service before the factory warranty expired, look at all the items they did under warranty.

I think you are very fortunate that the ABC pump issue was caught before the warranty expired. It was good of the dealership to find diagnose the bad values, replace the fluid, and run the rodeo tests. I think the dealership did a pretty through job. Out of pocket cost those fixes would have likely cost over $4K easily.

i couldn't open you attachment but it sounds like they did a good job. every time i have taken my MB's in right before the warranty ends and ask for a full check up they never find crap.

I was able to open the attachment. It was good that the dealership was able to take care of all of your issues before the warranty ran out. Looks like a few thousand dollars if you had to pay out of pocket. My warranty runs out next February and I'm making sure that I follow your lead. Thx.

I thought it was interesting that they went ahead and did what they did. My car since I had it would fall on the back right even after they did previous work, this time the mechanic told me there are new parts and replaced the valve blocks, etc..., the flaps on the trunk again were new parts, he noticed both batteries were original and replaced them.

He has always treated me right and I reciprocated, the day after I dropped the car off I dropped him off a gift certificate to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner for his family.

Did you make sure you removed all firearms from the car when you did your service? =D

*funny how they emphasize that on the workpapers, I thought FL was a "shall issue" state and you should really carry your firearm on person than leave it in the car...
