Question

Looks good! I am assuming that the 0584.jpg is showing the original high beams correct?

What brand did you get as I have been trying to find some that will match the low beams in color as yours do. Are they rated to draw more wattage than the OEM ones, and if so do you worry about melting the housing?

Thanks,

J T

Hey 0584 shows oem everything. ( bit highs are not on in that pic) oem lows(hid) oem driving ( little bulb) oem halogen fogs.

I donT know the brand as the shop sold/installed them. But I do know that they are all 6000k and we replaced everybulb including the oem hid to a new 6000k bulb to match the 6000k fogs and highs. They are brighter as a nicer color. My car is an 03 so mine were probably even less than new. I'm not worried about melting the housing as my shop would have warned me, because if I did I would return. I do also believe hid run Cooler than halogen ( although not 100% sure) I did same set up years ago in my e46 and no issues at same shop.

Are you saying that you had a conversion to HID on the high beams and not a halogen replacement bulb? Everyone tells me that it can't be done for a variety of reasons that's why I asked.

It does look great and I hope you can see better! Mine is an '03 as well.

Tnx,

J T

Hey JT,
that's correct. They put an 6000k hid kit on the high beams also. So all bulbs are true 6000k hid. Fogs. Lows & highs. The little daytime ones are LeD no error bulbs. Good match, super bright as you can see in pic where my fogs and lows are on. I posted eBay seller of the LEDs I got and clears in another thread. Great seller , great product, no cheap Bs stuff.
I can see well now! Lol. I do lots of hwy driving. Plus love the look

re: lidatek LE30 led, optional ebrake light install

i was hit with laser rader today, and my units went off! my led went crazy red/green...then stayed both colors while it stealthed itself till passed cops. alerts off the sprk by drivers legs, The ebrake lights go CRAZY on the dash..so easy to see/hear with tunes cranked..my passport sr7?shifters also did its job and i had to press the button 2x to stealth it...saved me a nice ticket!

Pasport stealth install finally!

My Bad. I forgot to take them is the right size to post.
Heres hoping I attached them correctly.P1000871.jpg

P1000872.jpg

Of note: the i-pod connects via optical cable for true quality sound and a proper display of song and artist on the command. Steering wheel controls work too!

got my new tails on! thx to a fellow member :)

Got tails on, had my stereo/car shop do it as i live in a high rise and sucks not being able to work on my ca at home..but it took them almost an hour as so tricky to get in and remove them and being careful not to break any trim pieces. Super happy, really cleans up the rear look. Thx to fellow member who sold them to me, muchly appreciated. next is install of amp/sub in footwell & amg sport front clip w/ carlson lip spoiler(bought from another great forum member)...first week november
