Is there such a thing as a SL600 AMG?

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger and buy an 08' sl600. Can somebody help me here. I am questioning the AMG package on a SL600 in 2008. Could you order one like this?

2008 SL600s can be equipped with the 421 AMG Sport Package, if I'm not mistaken.

That sounds like a great deal for $88,000, IMO. What's the mileage?

Does this happen to be the one you're looking at?

Just to let you know, the AMG badge was either added on by the dealer or the owner of the car. It's not an actual AMG vehicle. AMG packaged vehicles do not = AMG vehicles and do not come with the badge.

Picked it up yesterday. Had to wash it, even though it really didn't need it.

It drives better than my BMW 750IL That I had 10 years ago. But I cruised it between 80-100 all the way from New Orleans to San Antonio, got 18.6 MPG by the gauge (think it is more like 16, and averaged 75 with 4 stops (1 to eat, 2 for gas (really to stretch my legs and put in 9 gals each time) and 1 for a restroom break). 535 miles.

Rides great even with the low profile tires. That ride kit is easily adjustable using the AMG button inside (3 positions).

Gonna get out again today. I'm like a kid at Christmas.
