"A" Pillar Seal Replacement with pics
I just went through the undesirable job of replacing the first of my "A" pillar seals; thought I'd pass on what I learned. Replacing the first one took about 3-1/2 hours, but it's a job that can be reduced to less than an hour per side with the lessons learned.
You'll need Adobe Reader 9 or Acrobat 9 or later to read the file.

Another R107 owner also documented his experience at http://www.benzworld.org/forums/r-c1...tallation.html
The primary difference in our experience is that he used 3rd party seals, and I used OE MB. I had expected better results with the OE, but that was not the case; the failure of the holes in the seal to line up with the metal trim kept me from using one of the techniques that he used (taping the seal in place on the trim); and the raised rib on his seal fit more tightly in the groove on the trim, which helped to keep the seal in place.
His seal also had a slightly different form to the "pocket" that the trim fits into, as well. I don't know how much that affected things. However, his post and the link to the pics he posted are well worth a look.
