What ever happened to Joe's 1,300 HP Ford GT TT?

Hey Joe, what's been going on with your 1,300 Horsepower twin turbo Ford GT? I just saw a video of you racing against your friend Torrie's 1,089 HP Ford GT with a stock motor, and your's is a built motor now, right?

What HP are you up to now? 1,500? 1,700?

I just found out there is a company out there called SVS Power that has Dodge Vipers putting out over 2,000 Horsepower, thought you might be interested. I even saw a dyno run where it hit 2,000 HP easily with more left if they wanted to push it!!!

It ran the 1/4 mile in high 7 seconds at 183 MPH.

I think that if Stage 6 Motorsports, where you modified your car, can build your engine to a larger size again, you can maybe get to 2,000 HP also? Any updates and/or new videos/stats would be awesome!!

I want to know how long the tranny and engine lasts on some of those 1000-2000hp monsters...

I can understand the Bugatti Veyron being built to do 100,000miles on the original tranny and engine, but I don't see how continuously driving at that much boost is going to work out on some of these big hp cars will do.

Then again, I don't have much experience apart from a handful of people telling me that they'll drive just fine for tens of thousands of miles (probably pushing out a maximum of 200 or 300hp per average trip).

This is just speculation, but its been so long since we've heard anything, compared to all the hype going before, that he blew the engine?

IMV fims is supposed to be releasing the JOE dvd soon, but I have only heard about this and it is not on their site and I think the last vid I saw, he was pushin a little over 1500 hp, but I could be wrong,because I always forget everything
