Fuel (116) is added in the proper amount as per the NOS ECU controls which varies as the conditions, gear, MPH and traction change. We also get more HP than the NOS jets provide because of the intercooling affect.

Okay,,,, By adding more fuel, you are cooling down the motors internals, and the cooling of the intake air ( not the fuel ) by the expansion of the NOS, adds a little more cooling ( NOS has little mass and therefore little heat absorbsion ).
By adding NOS ( read, adding O when splitting from N ) the combustion temperature is raised dramatically, combustion presseure is going up, and more torque and HP is produced. Initial the cylinderwalls, pistons, valves and head can absorb the heat, but since the piston is the part in the motor that has less contact with cooled surfaces, and is not cooled by liquids, it heats up faster than any other component in the motor. If there is not added sufficient cooling to the piston, ( by evaporing fuel on the piston ) there will be burned a hole in the piston eventually. This is a thin line, and crossing it means motor damage.

That is what i mean by melting down pistons.

Anyway, NOS is good for quatermile, but for high speed driving over longer distance ( sutch as German Autobahn ) convential tuning is mutch better suited ( running out of NOS ).

Pretty cool setup. Except the bottle is not oriented in the correct position. Does the nitrous run off a window switch?

Has the price of the kit been released yet? Has it been tested on a V12 platform? What did the 55 trap at the strip? Maybe interested...

There is not set price - this is a build to order system. Simon will be back Monday and can work on it with you.

The Sl55 went 127 or 128. Simon has the exact info. Not ideal conditions though.

Here is a thread on it.

Thanks
Brad

If speed does not kill you the NOS in the battery compartment will. I hope it is well ventilated
