We lower our cars through STAR diagnostic systems, and they look great and handle better. every time I see a non-lowered SL now, it looks like an SUV to me!

btw... the cars look great!

There are disadvantages...

... to the mechanical lowering links: The car computer does not have a reference to the actual ride height and will lower the car another 15 mm at higher speeds, which might just be to low for my comfort (and safety)

No connection here to the electronic module supplier, just observing the obvious.

how can they justify the price of these things? Do they think we are all dumb?

I can't imagine that the circuit board and plastic box that it's in is too costly, and as to the software, ecu tunes are so over inflated its absurd..

They are just juicing us for the extra cash - as if more work goes in to tuning an sl63 over a c63, yet an increase in price is still justified..

Just the way I see it...if i were them, i would lower price and exponentially increase sales - so many of us would do that stuff if it was actually reasonable to do, but it isn't.

Beautiful car by the way!

ive had ZERO issues and trust me, 99% of my time driving is spent at "higher speeds"... and this is on Los Angeles quality roads.
So I doubt you will have any issues.
