Will this effect or remove any ECU software? I have the renntech ECU upgrade and dont want to lose that. To remove this ad, register today or login if you already are registered!

Does it matter if the car is cold or hot or sitting over night ? So just go in and reset that bad boy ?

Tried this out for the first time tonight and all I can say is WOW!!! It was like a different car when I mashed the gas pedal. Thanks for passing along this wonderful little secret.

I have a sprint booster will this help or make things worse as far as the booster goes??. The booster is suppose to give you better throttle response.

nothing shows up on the dash. at all.

EDIT: Holy Crap you guys.....sneaky ECU reset WORKS!!!

you will notice a difference. you can wait longer too. it works fine for me after 2 minutes. i used to wait 30 minutes until i found out 2 minutes works just fine.

no, it will not remove or mess with any aftermarket tune info.

It basically just resets the trans/throttle adaptations to zero.

Ya, I think it recognizes your driving habits after 200 - 300 shifts...

does anyone know if this affects sport mode? Does sport mode also auto adjust to your driving habits, or is the throttle response, etc. hard coded?

they both auto adjust, but with different underlying assumptions about how early to shift
