new slk200k tuning? or just keep it that way??

hi, im from mexico, and here we just have the slk 200k, the 350 and the 55amg, i just went for the 200 beacuse i tought it was more than enough with the new 186 hp instead of the older version with just 163, and of course the money ..lol...
so..im thinking in some modifications, or tuning to the engine to make it more powerful at low rpms, to gain not speed but quickier acceleration.
because it has a kompressor the specialist dont recomend to add any chip just some crank alteration, to gain something like 30 hp , or 30% more acceleration.
my question is, do u recomend to modify it? or should i just keep it that way?
i have since 2 months ago, and is the new version 2009.
