CL 550 SHOPPING..

supp guys..

.. so i went around today and shopped my wife's C240 for a 2008 CL with sports package.. it's a 2008 and they were willing to take off 15k from the price just cause the 2009 will be coming around November..

.. this is what i learned..

C240 trade plus $3000 down will get me into a 39 month lease worth $1450.. mileage is 12k a year..

Personally, I think that's too much. Of course, I don't know if your C240 is paid off, upside down or flat. However, I'm pretty sure I've seen M6 lease assumptions well below that. For the money, I would go there. Regarding the $1450 + 3000; I can't imagine paying nearly $60K over the next 3 years only to give the car back.

thanx fellas.. my wife is really thinkin about it.. we've paid of the C240 two years ago and she really loves the CL550. ..

.. so i went to their forum and read bout their posts, and learned that i need to tell the wife about needing a big budget for the SERVICES!! haahahahah.. shuxxx..

... some of them have said that the CL550 is a waste of money cause of the low budget interior it has.. basically, i think that they're sayin that if one is to spend money on a CL, it may as well be the CL63 or CL65..

that is so not true. the W216 interior is one of the best out there. especially if you could fork out extra grands for designo designs.

Hey Dear 9moon, looks like recent economic situation doesn't affect you that much. Good for you!
CL is a very nice looking car, but for my point of view CL550 is more like a senior car. Personally, I don't like the feeling of people think you are driving a car that doesn't fit you. From C240 to CL550 is a very big jump!
Post some pics if you pull the triger.

hey there lucky!!

..u know, im really happy with my SLK, but i think that my wife has gotten sick of me cleaning my car, talkin to it, hanging out w/ it in the garage and not letting her drive it, and have only put 2790 miles, that made her wanna get her own baby!!

.. but to tell u the truth, and im gonna be honest, as beautiful as the CL is, i really think that paying over 90k for it is a bit much.. im kinda pushing her to get a red porche targa instead.. but i think she wouldnt do it cause she knows it'll be for me as well..



... by the way, i or we can really careless what people think if we dont fit in the CL.. we're one of those couples that remind ourselves that "as long as we're happy"..
