02 vs 03 slk32 amg

Hi all, I'm new here since I've been on the market looking for a slk32, thought I'll come to the people that have one. Question for you experts out there, are there much difference between an 2002 and a 2003 slk32? I have a chance to get either one of these cars, of course with a $3000 difference...was wondering if I should go with the later one... Thanks!

there is no difference between the 2002,03 ,04 slk32 . identical cars with 1 small exception. the 2002 does not have a signature plate on the s/c. 03 and 04 do. also the 03 and 04 were built in smaller numbers so they are a bit rare.
look for the lowest mileage best maintained 32 you can afford. in this market they are all fair game. just so you know i got my 2002 slk32 with 36,000 miles 2 sets of rims and 2 radios with all manuals and 3 keys for 16750$ in jan 09

i dont kno were you live but if you are in the tn,al ga. area oct 23. i will be drag racing my 32 at the al. intl. dragway. a great way to see these underrated beasts run!! stock dyno is 321 hp 317 ft/lbs torque!!!!!

Thx for the invite. But i am planning on getting one before then. Also TX is a bit far to drive from...lol

I'll have to check my schedule (an infant and toddler at home slow be down a bit lol...). Here's an old video of me at Silver Dollar. Not my best run (my best ever was 13.3 @ 109.00), but always good fun!

i hope you can make it to the races. if i can get the street tires to hook up im hopeful for some mid 12's runs with trap speeds in the 110 to 115 range
