A Question for Hot Weather Passion Owners

Does the pano roof with the screen keep you cool enough in sunny weather? Or, is the ragtop the way to go in order to get a solid roof? To remove this ad, register today or login if you already are registered!

I live in sunny California. My Passion is black on black. So it's a heat magnet, but with the pano-roof sunscreen closed, a good solar-shade for the windscreen, and cracking my windows about 1/4 inch, the interior of the car stays relatively cool. I'm tinting my rear window and the two smaller side windows as dark as I can get them here shortly, so that might help a little more. Also, with black leather seats, I throw a white towel over the seat and steering wheel, when I'm going to be out of the car for a while, and it's scorching outside.

But all that is just when the car is parked at work. Although most of the time I do find some shade.
When at home, the smart is garaged. So no heat issues there.

Carlos
