Smart cars with no waiting

If anyone is interested in buying a Smart without going through the waiting list, I can hook you up with a guy who can get them in a week or so. As I understand it, they are fairly fully optioned.

There is a waiting list of 9 months in the Northeast right now, not sure how it is in other regions.

9 month waiting list? That's crazy, here it's 18 months+. Are they putting in overpriced mods to increase profits or can you buy one for the original sticker price?

San Diego has had plenty of "orphans" sitting around on weekends lately.
Sticker price for most of them, but I have noticed some that are getting a little crazy with the customized interior, leather stiched seats and sound/navigation aftermarket upgrades. Raises the sticker price to over $23,000.
At those prices, those "orphans" will be sitting around much longer...
but if you just can't wait... knock yourself out !

A good friend of mine was able to get a beautiful Passion Cabriolet with no wait at all.

Apparently there are dropouts from the waiting lists. Gotta be on your toes and ready to buy. You'll get one.
