Finalized Order Placed

Got the e-mail about 2 weeks ago to put in the "real" order for the Smart. Decided to go with the Passion Coupe in the new Metallic Gray color with a black Tridion stripe. Pretty much loaded it, including the new solid roof option. Didn't want the sun beating down on my head. Could be here as early as November or as late as January based on the delivery checker.

With the new color, it should be the only one like it on the block - for a little while.

I just received my "configuration order" e-mail this past week.
However, I already bought an ORPHAN at the smart Center that had exactly what I wanted, so my reserved spot can go to someone else,
or I can go ahead and configure it, and then just have someone else buy it.

Now I just have to get my $99 back.

SMART's are great, and we are finding out that they are very tunable. Enjoy it... I would be interested to hear how well it does as a winter car in Jersey....

Well, as a Jersey resident, mine is basically going to be a commuter and general "about town" car. If it comes in early enough, I'll find out if it can cut it with the all-seasons for winter. With the engine over the drive wheels, light weight, esp, and anti-skid; I'm hoping it proves usable during the winter.

We configured my dad's Smart several months ago. We were notified it would be delivered before Sept 6th. BUT Smart LV has not been finished yet so we still wait.

Are you still within your 3 month window?
