A flick from this past weekend's charity car show

I was showing at the Japan Relief Gathering charity show this past Sunday at pier 30 here in San Francisco. My friend snatched a shot of my car.

The rest of this photos can be found here: http://strictlybidness.net/2011/04/0...ring-coverage/

The show was alright, actually someone f-ed it up, so there weren't any vendors, DJs, etc. I think the picture emphasizes the shine. Wheels are lorinser RSK 6.

lol I normally do stuff myself, but this time I actually had someone detail it. The guy uses all meguairs products as far as I know, but I'm pretty sure its the commercial stuff you can't pull off the shelf at your local autozone.

The guy that detailed it only took around 2 hours. washed/clayed then buffed with the portercable then sealed it and cleaned the wheels/tires. Thanks for the comments. The paint makes the headlights look terrible.

On the other hand, I got severely sunburned after I fell asleep in the car under the sun. hahah

These are the guys that did it: http://www.thebaydetail.com/page/home

They detail all of the SF giants fleet vehicles. I was actually surprised how good it looked when he went over the car really quickly with the portercable. The detail I got was around $150 and he did it right in front of me. I'm not sure about socal area but they run all around the bay area.

This is a more "real life shot" another friend got of my car, its still glossy, but not as glossy as the other photo:
