All I have ever seen on mine is the SBC warranty extension.

All vehicles have TSB's, usually a long list of them. It doesn't mean you will experience all the issues listed, if any.......

Partially true. If its a non-wear item then the dealer gets nothing from Mercedes for replacing- my particular situation was the air intake clamp that connects it to the throttle body- the clamp was broken- tech said Mercedes would only replace the part but not pay for labor so he said I am SOL unless I want to pay for labor- even though it was not my fault- so techs are obviously more money/commission motivated than fixing all issues they see- on top of that, they probably already charged Mercedes a few thousand for my warranty work but weren't willing to replace a clamp

I completely agree. Consumers have a right to see all the issues with what they are purchasing- the tech bulletin is probably just a partial list with the classified list hidden somewhere.
How can companies make better products if us as consumers are not aware of these issues and force the companies make better product if they want to survive- imagine if you went to a restaurant and they told you that you are getting mystery meat? I am gonna stick to the idea of knowing and let the good companies build good products rather than hide info and let these companies get away wtih selling us inferior goods and saying 'oh, you must have gotten a lemon or you are just being too picky because you are the only person complaining'- how many times have I heard that in sales

Forgive my ignorance, but how do we look up the details of a particular TSB?

Are there papers or an associated link to the fixes for these puppies? Or do I need the DAS+WIS+EPC to acquire this info?

Wow I wish I would have read this before purchasing my car. I think I felt some of the tranny hesitation the other day. I hope I didn't make the wrong decision. I should have went with an m5 or stuck with my scooby!
