I am not sure if this question was already asked on the forum, but I'll take my chances.
Since the 7G is beefed up, would it fit an E55k? SLK55 has the 7G tranny, which is essentially a M113 motor. I know it is not the kompressor version but I don;t think that matters much in this case. I jut like the gearing better on the 7G, that's the reason I am asking. Thanks. |

Will this beefed up transmission meaningfully cut down the 60 foot times assuming traction is not an issue?

vrus said they have a beefed up 722.9 (7G-tronic). So, it should be able to take that much torque. Originally it was rated at a max of 517lbft of torque, that's as much as an E55k puts out. If it would be stronger than OEM then I wouldn't worry about which one is stronger since I won't have 1000 ftlb of torque out of that engine.
The gears are much better in the 7G compared to the 5 spd one. |

c43 Daily Driver
My car is a daily driver so I was wondering what the stall speed feels like in stop and go, rush hour traffic, etc.?

I still haven't seen anything in here from people that have the mod, and what would a package price before for the diff and all the other goodies to make it totally bullet proof?
