Best place to buy CF rear diffuser for E55

So, I am sick at looking at my POS black plastic rear diffuser. Do you guys have any expreience with the different brands that are out there, quality, etc? I want the piece to look identical to my Euroteck CF front lip if at all possible. Any help with this would be appreciated!! To remove this ad, register today or login if you already are registered!

I'm getting the vorsteiner one.

http://www.vorsteiner.com/mercedes/e55-diffuser.html

It costs about 1150, but it's the only one on the market right now that's decent imo. Supposedly eurotech is coming out with one that resembles the CLK Black Series diffuser, but I'm not sure how good it will look in the E so I'm not going to wait for it...

I agree the Vorsteiner looks good but for the price and you still have to have it clear coated its silly.

I will be waiting for the eurotech de-fuser

I agree that the Vorsteiner is expensive but it is the only real one on the market currently. I have been waiting for the Euroteck piece but I know that Neal has been very busy with his new shop so things are probably slowed down. I can't stand the way the stock piece looks so I think I will be shelling out the Vorsteiner money.

I was at Eurorev when a member of the forum was getting this rear diffuser installed on his car. I remember the tech at Eurorev brought over 2 diffusers and gave him a choice of which one he wanted. One looked flawless (and I am very picky), the other had drips and sags all over it...

Funnily enough I just received mine from Ebay (Taiwan) today after 2 weeks waiting. I have unpacked it and it looks fine. The finish and quality is good and there are no visable defects.I went out side and tried it on the car just to see how it looks. It really stuck out from the rest of the bumper.

Sorry if I am stating the obvious.............but I am guessing you have to remove the old plastic diffuser and stick the new on?
Looks like a job you have to take down to the garage to get it properly done

Can anyone confirm when installing the CF diffuser if you need to remove the existing plastic diffuser on the car?.

Not sure if you figured it out, I have the same unit. The stock rear diffuser is not removed. Instructions state to use double sided tape to attach the new unit to the old diffuser.
I also used 6 screws with neoprene washers to keep the two together. Fit and finish it excellent with NO gaps.
For the price, I am very happy.
