Another long ass day ending at NRP. I'll make it quick.
I arrived at Norwalk at 5:20PM and decided to jump in the staging lanes immediately to see how the car would do with v2 tuning fresh off a 2hr+ drive to the track. I switched to MT 265/18 DRs from the 285/18 Nitto DRs this past week in an effort to gain a better launch. Man do they bite, lol, the downside is they walk a bit up top (not as bad as a true slick but definitely a different world from the Nittos). I hit 3500 miles on the way to the track today. Car was left in sport/auto shift mode the entire time. First run: Zero cooldown, fresh off the drive in. As you would find the car on the street any day of the week. Actual: 5:34 PM 1.935 60' 7.935@91.81 1/8th 12.199@115.60 Corrected: The closest weather results for 10/10/2008 at 05:34 pm Time recorded 5:53 PM Temperature °F 68.0 Dew Point °F 46.9 Altimeter Setting 30.27 Inches Mercury Absolute Pressure: 29.36 Inches Density Altitude: 1389.2 feet Track Elelvation: 853 feet UnCorrected ET: 12.199 (sec) @ 115.60 (MPH) Corrected ET to Sea Level: 12.006 (sec) @ 117.397 (MPH) Second Run: Walked all over a LS3 Vette 6M/Vert (12.52@113.46) man was he pissed LOL!!! Actual: 7:59 PM 1.86 60' 7.81@91.66 1/8th 12.029@118.18 Corrected: The closest weather results for 10/10/2008 at 07:59 pm Time recorded 7:53 PM Temperature °F 57.0 Dew Point °F 46.9 Altimeter Setting 30.30 Inches Mercury Absolute Pressure: 29.39 Inches Density Altitude: 640.6 feet Track Elelvation: 853 feet UnCorrected ET: 12.029 (sec) @ 118.18 (MPH) Corrected ET to Sea Level: 11.948 (sec) @ 118.994 (MPH) Third Run: 11:07 PM Actual: 1.886 60' 7.819@92.24 12.024@118.78 Corrected: The closest weather results for 10/10/2008 at 11:07 pm Time recorded 10:53 PM Temperature °F 54.0 Dew Point °F 46.0 Altimeter Setting 30.32 Inches Mercury Absolute Pressure: 29.41 Inches Density Altitude: 415 feet Track Elelvation: 853 feet UnCorrected ET: 12.024 (sec) @ 118.78 (MPH) Corrected ET to Sea Level: 11.972 (sec) @ 119.31 (MPH) Even though we didn't run an actual 11, overall we're still very pleased with the results. Trapping over 118.7 actual/119.3 corrected is no small feat on a sticky MT DR in a 4150lb car, the ETs weren't bad either. ![]() I'm guessing (I'll hit the dyno Monday) that we picked up 12rw+ (conservative guess) over v1, with firmer (still MB like) shifts and the stock shift points (for those worried about excessive rpm/driveline wear). I'll post timeslips when I get home tomorrow afternoon, there was a friend on hand to shoot a video (of my last run) but somehow he only ended up with my car up to the burnout box. At least there were 400+ witnesses on hand to verify lol.Slips: ![]() ![]()

MHP seems to have run 11.66@119 with the V2 ECU and the drag radials.
quite a battle going on between MHP MKB Kleeman RennTech Neat 11.48@121.58 is the same car that ran 11.83 w/o the custom headers Seems its MKB and MHP with RennTech breathing down the neck |

I suppose there is room to question what tunes, what mods etc... I do not think anybody questioned the MKB car that ran the 11.48. Whether Andy stole the tune or was a victim is not my call to make. I just process data and I believe the times absolutely probable based on weight and power. I know Andy was banned from here , I know pieces of the story it does not effect my ability to determine what is possible and not. An ECU tune in the C63 is worth alot more than it is on the E, dyno's prove it and the track times prove it. |

Jangy,
Here is a video of the back up 11.49 run. I can't find the 11.48 video but I have the time slips. It was done the same day just a few hours apart. I have three separate ECU's so none of the tuners have had access to each others tunes. I send them a stock ECU and they send me their best tune. The car had the MKB shorty headers with the MHP V2 ECU/TCU tune that day. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/d...run_639456.htm

lol...still the nipping at my heels huh luke. you're not sore at me that you had your lips glued to andy's ass all those months are you?
![]() anyways, i know that andy was soley responsible for his own demise so there's no need for me to pat myself on the back. just merely pointing out to a new member that i'm fully aware of the situation and don't need to do a search on the subject. |

Not sore at all, but it seems you continue to be. You just can't pass up a bashing opportunity while trying to "shine the light" and make yourself look like the forum savior
Give it a rest already. Everyone else seems to have let it go, perhaps you should do the same.

![]() I didn't "attack" anyone - I simply made an observation about the fact that Mikey still holds a grudge, uses any chance he can get to bash... and I think we've all heard enough. He has made his thoughts and opinion of Andy/MHP very well know - personally I'm sick of hearing about it and sick of him patting himself on the back for somehow exposing MHP. Especially considering the fact that Mikey had many private messages with Andy in the beginning expressing interest in his product but then lashed out at him becasue Andy wouldn't give him a better deal on a tune. Post #445 from this thread - a direct response by Mikey to Andy: Quote:
