The story about why you should not buy anything from 360 forged

Hello Everyone. I just waned to first introduce myself. My name is Andrey. I am US citizen but I am from Ukraine. I am an owner of one of 3 largest tuning companies in Ukraine. Company Topspeed. We are exclusive dealers and distributors of such well known US, Japan and UK companies as EcuTek, Blitz, Greddy, AEM, Stoptech, ACT, AMS, Driveshaftshop, Hoosiers and many many others. I am refering to this so you could understand that I buy LARGE quantities of products in USA and export them to sell in Ukraine. I make hundreds of Invoices, purchases, transfers, payments and so on. And I am in this business and I know how it has to be done. Now to get to the point, on March 28 2008 I got in contact with company 360forged, Jordan, I believe the owner or manager there. I ordered a set of wheels for my own C63 AMG, the 5CF carbon fiber ones, and a set of regular corvette wheels for my client. On april 10th 2008 I was charged my card for FULL payment of the both sets of wheels. I got the lead time on c63 wheels 6 weeks, which makes it 21 of may 2008. and on corvette wheels it was faster. Corvette wheels was ordered with tires Nitto btw. Just another coment, I got in contact with Jordan through my other client who ordered 20" CF5 wheels for his corvette z06 here in Ukraine. By that time he missed all the deadlines with him and Jordan offered him the wheels with metal centers and THEN, when CF centers will be ready, to replace the centers. The client agreed and got his wheels with metal centers. his order was like in February 2008. The problems strated right away with the Z06 regular (non CF) wheels. For some reason there was a delay on tires, which I later bough myself from Tirerack with no problems, but for some reason Jordan couldnt. So he delayed the wheels like 4 weeks, and finally couldnot email me tracking for another week and the wheels got to me on Jun 20th which is more then 2 MONTHES from the order date. for Non CF wheels which was promissed like 2 week time. By that time, the client with other CF wheels for z06 was fed up so bad with Jordan lies that he asked me to refund his difference for the centers because it was like 5 monthes he waited for his centers, the centers he PAYED for. so instead iof the wheels he ordered he got regular metal centers, Jordan kept the money for 5 monthes and now he asked for refund. well, I emailed 200 emails, and called overseas 100 times. The refund was done on SEPTERMBER 10th. The refund for tires he couldnot buy for 2 monthes and centers that was waited for 5 monthes. and it took them from Jun 30 to Sept 10th to do a refund of 3385 USD. 40 days for the refund. and always excuses, busy at the meetings when called, no replies to emails and so on. The only way that i could make him to reply is if I email him that I would post this all on forum, which I am doing now because I am fed up with this company and I am ready to take actions.
Now, needless to say Jordan missed the deadline for my CF wheels for c63. The was not shipped on may 21 as he promissed. They were shipped on Jun 20th. which makes it a month of a miss. and guess what, they were shipped as a first set of Z06 wheels with metal centers because Jordan could not make the CF5 centers for that time. ok, I agreed to wait for the centers that then was supposed to be shiipped to me. I got the wheels, installed them on the car, thet are on now, I drove like 3000 miles on them. You all know how much the CF5 wheels cost. I payed that amount for them only because they are CF and not for a metal centers. I payed ammunt in full and I wanted to have a CF wheels, not the metal ones, otherwise I would buy something else, something that actually delivers. Well, the story continued. Jordan was promissing deadlines every 2 weeks for 2 more weeks, I kept calling, emailing with no replies and then when treating to take actions, I was getting excuses and replies for more deadlines. I can post all the emails and all the call records just to get you an idea that I am saying. The last deadline was end of the year 2008. He did not made it. Then we finally got to talk, I said that I do not want the wheels if they are not CF, if the company advertises and sells something, they have to deliver it, the product I ordered, not the replica of it and get charged for full ammount of the product. I thought we got an understanding with him, I have no idea why I thought so because EVERY one of his words was lie from the begging. BTW just another note, I was at SEMA show in LAs Vegas and Jordan also promissed to bring the CF centers to Vegas to give me in hands, which was another lie. He did not pick up the phone all Las Vegas week and his secretary told him he is in Vegas and I asked to ask him to call me and he never did. He just ignored me. I will just get one note from the conversation we had last.

This is just a part of the full story, which has hundreds of lies, emails, promisses, his secretary saying he is busy, on the meetings and so on.
I feel SO stupid when I talk to him but I was keeping me together every time he made another deadline and another lie. And now I do not understand why. As I mentioned earlier, and why I mentioned this, I buy so much products from US, I import parts for a hundreds of thousands of dollars in wheels, tires, race products, EMS and so on. and I NEVER got a treatment like that from any other company in the world. I never heard so much lies and promisses and deadlines from anyone especially when I am purchasing an expensive product from him and I am his dealer and we both make money out of it. I explained Jordan 10 times that this is not the way to do business, he agrees, but lies again. He even humiliated me by sending me the centers and saying that this is my CF centers and all needs to be done is clearcoated them. It was in the middle of December. Do you people believe that since march 28 2008 till Jan 16th 2009, in almost a YEAR time, there was not produced ANY CF wheels? If there were, why mines are not ready? If a wheels cost 7000 USD, why client has to get a wrong wheels he have not ordered and do not want, pay, and get promisses every 2 weeks?

Now on the Jan 16th I am getting this email from him when I asked him again about why on this last deadline he promissed himself I have no tracking info and no info what so ever. I again and last time told him that I will do a legal action and inform everyone about this issue, but this was his reply, and this is why I am wrigint this, and I strongly suggest EVERYONE not to deal with this company or any other brand they are trying to get out.

Sounds like Jordan has too many irons in the fire to be honest with you.

Is this his only business he works for or owns? I've known several businessman who are great people but have too many things going on to stay on top of issues (no matter big or small) and keep in contact with customers. He is a reseller of these wheels, no? If he is just a middle man, he is merely playing the role of telling you what they're telling him...if they delay shipment, he delays shipment as well. I agree that he shouldn't have told you that the items were shipping out a certain day when he didn't know for sure- but this will fall back on the fact that he's relying on someone else for information. As far as the refunds go, maybe he didn't have the money to give back to you...sucks but that's reality in a small business sometimes.

Just a thought. Trying to give him the benefit of the doubt...

Nearly a year to make a set of wheels and you still don't have them?

You should know better than to threaten someone that you actually want wheels you paid for 10 months ago.

Interesting....... I thought they were a respectable company....guess you never know.. I wonder if 360 forged would have acted differently if the OP was local and would have been able to take legal action easier....

I wonder if the people on this site that have taken delivery on their CF 360forged wheels, actually got CF, and not some look alike ... Jordan should not have let it get this far, I am in the manufacturing business my self (clothing) and if I'm late on something Ill usually kiss my customers @$$, Its wrong the way Jordan is treating you, the problem, and giving you the run around. I don't know Jordan, he might be a great guy, but this is no way to do business, especially if your on ALL THE FORUMS 24/7 posting pictures, and trying to build a company up. REP goes a long way, and I think this small problem will go a long way in giving 360forged a bad REP...sometimes its better to pay and make the problem go away....Good Luck Man, I don't see anything getting solved between you 2, he's fed up with your "attitude", and your fed up with his Bullsh*t....Get a lawyer and let him scrap it out, don't stress yourself out.

i have only been on this site a few months a have heard numerous bad things about this company. the products look good but horrible customer service and not being able to deliever them on time is going to kill any business in this day and age. sounds like a lot of the frusteration could have been solved if better/more communication had been used. a lot of times people dont mind waiting for quality products if they arent ignored and treated with respect.

Everyone does know that the 360 forged CF is one layer over the aluminum?...that's why its called a composite.

most should know that. Only a couple true CF wheels out there. I have seen Jims Dynamag's and I believe someone else makes something simular. Pretty much everyone else is using a CF lay on top of the aluminum.

I've met Jordan a few times and he seems like a very stand-up guy. However, I know of some other people that have had a falling out with him and his business in the last couple months. I think he will take care of you and issue your a refund soon.

360 forged makes crap rims. its not 9,000 ton forged. I'd buy HRE before 360 forged and hate HRE.

I requested and obtained pricing for wheels from this company as I was thinking of a new set for this Spring. Keep us informed and thanks for posting as we would never have suspected a problem without your input. Hope it gets resolved for both of you. Hate to see someone's reputation take a beating but it is what is is.

2 sides to every story. I've heard more good about 360 than bad. I purchased the same wheels, but mine are due in Feb. I've been able to have great communication so far with them.

I've also talked to owners of 360 forged wheels who are very happy with the quality of their wheels.

I hope you get your wheels and the service that you deserve.
