Hey guys, after playing around with some things and thinking about it, there is NO way we can keep the painted bar at the bottom in place for a diffuser, (without it looking weird). We would cover it up, and make it look very similar to our E55 diffuser, maybe a little larger on fins maybe even have them hang lower, but we cannot keep the bar in place...

No do you guys see why we never made an E63 diffuser? LOL lack of interest.

I don't mind having it look like the E55 diffuser..... the E55 diffuser looks incredible

yeah the 55 diffuser looks great! However for the 63 it would be nice for it to be a little different. Especially if we are going to end up paying twice that of the 55's.
I am ok with getting rid of the lower bar as long as whatever we are putting in its place has a unique quality for it compared to the 55 one.
So what can we do to make to a little different?

As long as we don't sacrifice performance or functionality, I'm in....

By the way, I believe the E55 is based on the SLK55 one, which was actually wind-tunel tested with great results

Noooo....... Lets keep it 4 fins just like the E55 but maybe slightly larger fins and hang a little lower than E55 like others have suggested.

I do agree that the W211 needs more than three fins. But I still would like to see the diffuser wrap on the external edges of the exhaust tips like the CL63 and the C63 do and maybe protrude from the bumper like the Vorsteiner. I think that would set it apart.

Okay, so looks like we have a final design ideas agreed upon....

We want the E55 style diffuser with the following modifications:

1) Diffuser wraps around outer edges of the exhaust as found on the CL63.
2) Larger fins hanging lower for a more aggressive look.
