Ran the new CTS-V last night in my E55
That car is pretty damn fast. We did digs, 1st gear rolls and 2nd gear rolls and was dead even every time. I was riding with 2 extra passangers and cts only had driver. My car has pulley/ecu. Im assuming the cts was stock, didnt get to talk to the driver. Those cars come with 556hp and weight around 4200 pounds from the factory.

I haven't driven one, nor have I seen one perform in person. I have sat in the driver's seat at the NYC autoshow this year. All I have to say is the interior is a work in progress, much better than other American cars.

I don't like the interior...the exterior looks like the old one...i'd take the Pontiac G8 GXP 6.2 ahead of this, better bang for the buck imho and in this price range it's got to be M/AMG/RS personally...

My fear is the Cadi brand will be owned by either the Chinese government or a Mexican drug cartel shortly. Let me see you fight a warranty issue now my friends

The new CTS-Vs got some serious power, but I'm not sure if they've improved their launching yet...... at the track, the old CTS-Vs hop all over the place

I dunno but a stroked out V10 ($30k kit) doesnt seem to be blowing away that stock v so seriously. Wheel hop is not an issue with the new v its the traction. Traction is the problem with all that torque its making. Even the red v is rolling on 18's w/ dr's and still has serious traction issues.

'22 Alpina B7,'21 G63 Renntech obviously (wife), Wrangler(kids)
No wheel hop ever, easier (much easier) to launch then any 55 or 65 series, very linear and proggresive power delivery, very decent brakes, excellent handling (on par with E60 M5),never lacking power at any range.
Interior very comfy (I had Recaros and suede) much, much closer in quality to leading euro cars but still not there.
Overall,a great package ,very competitive against E63 or M5 but at a much more attractive price.
Personally, liked the car immensely ,got rid of it because of constant ribbing from my wife who kept saying I "looked like a Florida retiree in it" and refused to even ride in "that thing".
Well,I am "***** whipped" very much so,traded the car for the Speed.

The new cts-v is the real deal. the car handles like an M5 and hennessy has a kit that makes the car super nasty. they trash the supercharger and turbo charger it. hittin 60 in 3.1 and 1/4 mile in 11.1
if you wait 10 minutes you can buy a used one for the price of a camry do the mods and be a street demon. The video will make you cream your pants. the car sounds sooo good with the mods done. The caddy is a good lookin car too.

Picked up a Raven Black in December, put about 3k miles on it until trading in last month.
