Unhappy cheesy, fake sl65 amg in Tampa
I have seen this white sl 500 twice around Tampa. It is stock with chrome rims, maybe 18's. He has "V12" badges on the fenders and the "SL65" badge on the back. A real sl65 has "v12 bi-turbo" on the front fenders so he even screwed that up. It sounds totally stock and has no amg body kit. Anyone who knows what a real sl65 looks like would call this clown out in 2 seconds, and anyone who does not know would have no idea what the letters and numbers mean. I guess he is just trying to impress clueless girls with his ****ty chrome wheels. Big time poser. To remove this ad, register today or login if you already are registered!

Tampa must be bad for poser AMG's I saw a murdered out Clk500 and he put CLK63 AMG on the back and i was only there for one week to visit family ( use to live there). But have yet to see a poser AMG in the scottsdale/ PHX area

Tampa is no worse than any midsize to large city anywhere...Given the advent of Ebay, badges and dual exhaust tips poseurs are aplenty. I used to give a crap but all I do now is let them here my exhaust growl and let it go...

I live in tampa and saw a fake "C230 AMG" yesterday. He may be on to something.

Los Angeles is Infested! I saw a sorry C230 tarted up to C55 AMG complete w/floating Egay tips, side Kompressor badging puny reg C230 Calipers/rotors, krazzee part?? Lady driving it was @ least 65 yrs old???? granny poser??
