Gas, I do not care about. I am in San Antonio. I would sell my E350 and get the AMG or newer E350. I believe I will get the E55. I wanted to make sure I was not purchasing a model that has a history of breaking all the time. I have such a good relationship with the dealer here in Boerne, and if I am going to spend money on a good car, I want to make sure its a CPO. I will always pay more for CPO vehicles and service.

fwiw, even if it's a CPO I'd still get an indie's ppi and do the research on past history, etc.. A warranty is one thing, but the inconvenience of having it constantly in the shop is another, imho.
I always do a ppi on any car (plus you'll have bargaining leverage if something shows up) Sometimes the dealers get a little loose with their inspections just to sell the car, and bank on the extra CPO $$ to cover their butt. You probably already know this, but I'm just sayin' it......

The 55k motor is a legend. Once you been bitten its is soooo tough trying to find a car to replace it with other than a 65tt or another 55k variant. SBC brakes are the only things that still make me a little nervous tho on these cars.

well, if you already have a 06 E350 then why think to get 07 E350 because of new facelift ? 55 is unic car, you cant go wrong. And also will keep better value than the E350. Once the W212 comes out, the 350 will drop the price even faster.....

The E55 looks really great with chrome wheels. Ask Jimmy about a special deal he has for you. MB Boerne has been great to deal with. San Antonio has some of the worst customer service in the country, these guys at MB Boerne are a pleasure.

I'm not subscribed. If it is not a joke, then it is actually a bad sign for of you.... Trust me, just post that it was a joke and move on. You do not want an E55, if your other option is an E350. That is simple. You didn't even compare it to an E550 which would have only been half as funny.

he needs an e55.Dealer said he will offer my chrome rims to him as an upgrade. The rims are in great shape...I just am not big on chrome, but I want to remain with stock rims. It is not worth money to me, so if they swap 'em out...maybe we are both happy. |
