I am just getting home from working on my car. I smashed a dug out speed bump in a constuction zone. It tugged on my exhaust so bad it pulled my collector off my header causing a CEL. lots of late night welding, problem is now fixed. . Now I find out I need a new front tire.. One is separated. No biggie though it just means less sleep tonight. Shipping out to Cali by 1pm Friday. See you all at the track.

You don't really NEED the line lock. Worst case scenario just run without it.

Uh, no, I really do need it, a DCT does not behave like an auto at the strip, trust me, I know what I'm doing.

If anyone can help, I would appreciate it, if not, I'll just do the best I can.

I'll install it at the damn strip if I have to.

Won't be able to make the caravan but you did encourage me to wake up a bit early. Will try to get to track at 10.

Better to not install it than risk breaking a part you can't replace tonight. Do a few passes without and then if you really need it install at the track. Option B is to put the tow hook in, run a rope, and have a couple buddies hold the car back. Old school style.

Terry, trust me, I've done plenty of passes without it. It is a night and day difference. Plus, this time I'm going to have much more power, making it all the more imperative.

Somehow some way it will be done, or I will just have a string of 13 second passes with nice trap speeds.

What are some of you BMW boys trapping at Famoso? Someone told me that a couple of BMW's were trapping 120 over there...is that true? I can't believe how much power those things make...unbelievable.
