I'll be bringing a helmet anyways... just in case. If anyone else wants to use it, they can borrow it. Just leave the hair products at home that morning. haha.

I have been over 150mph at MIR a few years back at a rental with no roll cage/bar. Hope things haven't changed.

Jacket and boots maybe

All you need is a helmet with the cars. Yes I am sure, I have been 10s there before and cars have even gone 9s without a cage. But this is only at rentals

Damn....tick tock it's getting closer!

Hey Ahmad, what E55's are making it out tomorrow? Are we going to finally see that 10 second pass or what? Hopefully the weather gives you guys the DA needed for that pass because Sacramento isn't cooperating . I'm waiting for that 60 degree day and it seems like it's never coming.....

Once again guys - good luck, be safe, and haul some a$$!!!!!!

Yup this is tomorrow. It is unusually warm and humid but I expect the DA to be be under 1000' throughout the day. More like 500' or even lower to start the day off. Was hoping for some nice negative DA's but I will settle for no precip! lol There should be a few E55s out, Nates old car will be there but PC still hasn't fixed the tune

Thanks. I dont think I will go faster than 10.8 @ 125 tomorrow but we will see

Haha....that's it . I would love a 10.8 pass @ 125mph .

Will you guys be running the old file on Nate's car? That would probably give you guys your best chance at 10's if your current file isn't working well. Make sure you get a few passes this time and see what she could really do .

That's what I'm looking for before I run my car again...DA @ 500 or below. Hopefully in mid November I will get my my chance.

I want the record man, even if its just for one day! I haven't tracked my car in so long with a proper tire setup on it, I'm going to have to relearn to launch it. I have a feeling I might just go balls to the wall on the first pass. That way if I break an axle I have time to swap it and go again. Guess I gotta wait a little longer to break the record. I might run my car next weekend at Imports vs. Domestics at MIR (should be realllyyyy good air according to the forecast) depending on how the car runs this weekend

We tried to get the old file. Lets just say PC is not being the most customer service friendly tuner right now. I should get a couple passes behind the wheel

I looked at the weather more closely and if the barometric pressure stays as high as it is now or higher and weather.com is accurate on their forecast we may even see -DA in the morning and get now higher than a few hundred feet above 0 throughout the DA. We shall see

I'm sure Tony from Eurocharged wouldn't mind tuning Nate's old car... if the new owner is interested.

He is supposedly right now... I am going to try and call him and get an ETA to my house...or at least find out where he is.

We will be leaving early in the morning to hopefully get there by 9a.

Sorry for the quick double post, but just thought of something.

Is anyone bringing a DSLR camera? Pics are a must.

I will be bringing my dig video camera, but it isn't HD, so I'm not sure if someone has something better. I'll be glad to video some passes if they want...

Just talked to Jason at MIR and he said he will prep both lanes for us by 9am. The sooner you get there the cooler the weather!

Near the track? Nothing but cheap motels. Most people stay up by DC or surrounding area and drive down. It's about 1hr from DC, give or take.

Not in his car, it's not.

Hey Ahmad, did you ever work out that wireless/connectionless setup?

Yea I did, just remind me to open the bottle before I leave the house. My remote bottle opener doesn't work 90 miles away but I have found a way to get the nitrous into my engine from the bottle at home LOL Wireless ftw!

Well, just talked to Tony an hour ago. He is on the road, but he didn't leave nearly the time he wanted to. Turns out he will be going directly to the track...or somewhere close.

camdon, you can just join him at the track ~5am hahahaha.

except he will be sleeping until everyone shows up.

man... i just looked at the route it wants me to take... it's almost worth leaving at midnight or 2am to avoid baltimore/dc rush hour...

There is a brand new Sleep Inn about 15 minutes away. Very clean and cheap. I just stayed there for an event last weekend.

I'm more worried about the stretch between bmore and DC on 95 or whatever it is...do I need to worry about that?
