Made my Carbon fiber airbox fit the 82mm TB

CL55, 1/4 mile time 11.61@120.26mph,1.75 sixty(12/5/08). ASP 180mm pulley, LET tune, 82mm TB, CF airbox, Aux.Garrett H/E, Meziere 20 gpm I/C pump, filters, Nitto Invos 275/40/18 rear (street tires), Wiseco Forged pistons/Nikasil coated bore. New ET`s coming soon! |

Here is a shot of the tools. Star wrench on the coordless to take the air box screws out (duh). Grinding bit and sanding bit to smooth out final fit. I also used some 80 grit hand sand paper to smooth rough edges. Last, used a water hose to wash out intake and then scrub dry with rag..
For the the best seal, take your rubber gasket out of the mouth of the 80mm Y pipe and reverse it. Then slide over the 82mm TB before putting the CF intake on..

my CF intake is made for a stock TB you think it can be done for a 82mm TB?

I think that may be to much of a stretch but you will have to mic it first..
