That thing is sinfully hideous. I don't care how fast it is, how well it handles, or what have you. The thing is a crime against humanity. Why Porsche just couldn't do a 4 door sedan and not try to pathetically rip off the CLS I will never know. I would have loved to have seen the car in a traditional 4 door mid-size sedan shape to take on the M5 and E63. To remove this ad, register today or login if you already are registered!

why make the Turbo Panamera a v8?

they could of use the 3.8TT and saved space and weight.

no matter what you say, one man's trash is another man's tresure. As ugly as the car may be, I sat in a turbo and was really impressed with the quality of finish, technology, and performance numbers of this car.

It's over 4K pounds and the car pulls .96G's in a turn. I think the salom is over 68MPH which is incredible for this car. 0-60 in 4 seconds, I believe that may be faster than the W212 AMG. THe car even cuts off at stop lights to save gas. The seats feel great and snug too.

I hope no one buys the car and the prices falls through the floor. I wouldn't mind a used turbo to do a little canyon driving with friend in tow. the car is that capable, even if the looks are of love/hate it design.

by the way the car show was listed for 155K.

I am gonna be honest, not a fan of the styling, and personally never been a fan of Porsche. I feel like they put comfort last and performance first, while I personally need a balance of both. This is obviously up for debate and based on preference, but I was thinking of buying a Cayenne Turbo S 2 weeks ago, but just really couldn't stand the way it felt, the way it drove (raw), the interior was rather bland, but it did really accelerate. The car just did not feel like a $135,000 car, like I felt if I paid $80,000 for it, I was overpaying. I assume the Panamera is very similar on the interior to the Cayenne Turbo S. I would buy a S63 over a Panamera Turbo simply because I have not found an interior I like better than an S63, refined, but over the top at the same time. From little details from massaging seats (which you have to really own the car to know they exist, as the activation is hidden away in the computer system), to the soft yellow lighting that literally comes out of the woodwork wrapping all the way around the car, right up to the finishing touch of the navigation system knob being pressure adjusted so when you turn to a menu where you can't go any further, it won't let you twist the knob anymore. You really can't beat the balance of performance and luxury.

Just my little tidbit.

I think what annoys me most is they only got one part of the car wrong, and they got it sooo wrong it has, to me at least, destroyed the car.

Were they trying to recreate the 911 look on the rear?

Get the arse sorted and you would have a car that is good AND desirable. Right now its good and ... well I REALLY dont want one and especially not for 133k. For this price I would need to want one a year ago, and performance wise better then "good".

Give me the new 997PDK Turbo anyday thanks.

Regardless of what you think of either car, the interior of the pana is so far removed from the cayenne it is laughable. Not even in the same stratosphere.
