anerbe,

How do you plan to intergrate this into the car? Where is it going? I am considering doing something similar and was curious about your setup.

anerbe, your E55 looks great. The tint makes it look extra nice. Is that the silver reflective kind? What type of tint do you have. Thanks.

the tint is 19% Quantum on all sides and the rear window, and 28% Quantum on the windshield. Look at

Solargard Tint

Quantum brings out the color of the tint and provides the best heat and light rejection while making the outside still clearly visible from the inside, even at night. However, quantum is the most expensive and hard to aquire of the solargard products.

I was looking at the Alpine motorized monitor to be installed under the 6 disc changer area (current cig lighter location). I can get a great deal on alpine products, so i will purchase the screen and the nav dvd first, then attempt install. Looking at the TME-M790. The screen probably will only be able to flip out when the gear selector is in D.

Why not? They can take it... The Ford and Chevy guys rib each other all of the time. The same goes for Benz and Bimmer.

Would you rather have one of these?
