An Engine Built for the Perfect Beast

The Brabus 700 4x4 comes with an improved G63 twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine that churns 700 horsepower and 708 pound-feet of torque. This enables it to achieve 0 to 62 miles per hour in as little as 5 seconds. For such an extravagant beast, this is enough to get any car enthusiast exhilarated. With power like that the Brabus 700 can roll up to the line with many sports cars and put them to shame. However, its top speed stands at 130 miles per hour due to safety reasons. This is all thanks to the magical improvements carried out by the German Mercedes tuner, Brabus.

A Mighty Off-Roader

Despite the Brabus 700 4x4 being based on the old G-wagon, it still packs features solid and impressive enough to enable the car to tackle all types of terrain. This is thanks to the shedding of the portal axles previously installed in the G500 4x4 Squared. The individual struts can be adjusted from the cockpit via an exclusive Touch Control Panel. This allows for the perfect riding height. Ground clearance now goes up to 2 feet. Skid plates protect the engine, fuel tank, and driveline while the 22-inch wheels, carbon fender flares and, Pirelli Scorpion ATR off-road tires enhance the overall off-road capabilities.

Enhanced Looks

Brabus did not disappoint when it came to the exterior changes made to the G63. The Brabus 700 4x4 Squared is gaudy and massive but that's part of its panache. It comes with unique LED daytime running lamps and a roof spoiler. The larger fender attachment and arch flares further enhance its stance. The interior is wrapped with custom leather built to meet the owner's personal liking. This makes the 700 4x4 Squared a luxurious off-roader. There's also a roof-mounted light bar with 12-inch LEDs and the usual Brabus "B" logo that comes in place of the Mercedes-Benz star.

Extra Power

Brabus installed some of their own intakes, a stainless steel exhaust and, high-flow cats to ensure that the 700 4x4  exerts more power and zeal. The factory turbos were replaced by even larger turbos that feature a bigger compressor unit. As a result, there's more boost pressure. There were no transmission modifications mentioned so it's assumed that all the power is channeled through the same 7-speed transmission. The new exhaust is louder than ever and manages to exhibit the car's performance through sound.

Better Fuel Economy

In city driving, the behemoth gets about 12 miles per gallon but was to be expected. In highway driving, the number jumps to 20 miles per gallon so that should make all the conservationists feel better. Oddly enough this makes the car an average fuel consumer. However, with a hyped engine and enhanced capabilities, this is a far better rating than what you'd find in a similarly performing sports car.

Price

The Brabus 700 is priced at a whopping $238,000. The high price tag is as a result of the increased demand in addition to a limited run of just 10 of examples. This makes the Brabus 700 not only a performance beast but also an ultra-rare vehicle for a possible investment.
