AMG speed machines with great graphics

The Mercedes-Benz GT3 is an AMG racing version of the celebrated GT platform. It takes the rear-wheel-drive two-door configuration into racing trim and these AMG GT3s are among the most popular customer racing cars you can buy. With a combination of trick aero and powerful V8 engine technology, these cars make excellent racers and their classic front-engined proportions, also make for a great mobile billboard. And for the 2020 season, some teams have applied some great liveries.

A big shiny grille helps to balance your graphic design

With its oversized Panamericana grille, the latest AMG GT3 racers have a lot of presence. Rival racers are never in doubt recognizing what is coming up behind them if a team is running an AMG GT3. The large grille and low carbon-fiber lip spoiler also give graphic designers a great deal of freedom in what they can accomplish with an AMG GT3's colorway. The shiny grille anchors bold colors with ease, unlike other mid-engined racers, which have no front grille.

It even looks great in cartoon colors

The AMG GT3's generous side profile, with its small cabin section and large hood profile, makes for an excellent canvas. Its shape can even spread cartoonish designs, as illustrated with this manga-themed design. This is a Goodsmile car and the team is known for its cartoon-inspired designs on its AMG competition cars.

The neutral colorway option

If a cartoon finish is too outlandish for your taste, there are more traditional colorways. You could opt to have your AMG GT3 finished in a nice neutral grey. This has particular advantages for those racing teams who want their AMG GT3s to look best under all lighting conditions and photograph well. A matte grey finish sits in the middle of the color spectrum and ensures that any AMG GT3 finished in the design of the car above, is never too bright or dark to capture by media, when lapping a track.

Orange works great under cloud cover

For teams who know they will be campaigning their AMG GT3 race cars in circuits that mostly have wintery or cloudy conditions, brighter colors are better. To achieve a superior impact for teams who race in Europe and the northeastern United States, which are more likely to be lapping under cloud cover, bright orange is a great livery to ensure maximum exposure for your AMG GT3 on track.

The 2020 AMG GT3 liveries even look good in virtual reality

The 2020 AMG GT3 ever looks great in pixels. This is a virtual racing version of the AMG GT3 and it looks just as fetching as any real-world version. With dominant red and bright yellow wing mirror details, it looks great and serves as inspiration for a team who would wish to replicate this look in real life.

A decade of striking AMG racers

Since 2010 AMG has producing customer racing cars. The first was its SLS AMG, the characterful gullwing road car. Since then, most of AMG's racing support and design resources have been applied to the company's GT-series cars. Over the last decade, there have been a marvelous array of different graphic designs, applied to the AMG racing cars. The AMG two-door road car shapes have always provided a great departure point, and with all those trick racing aerodynamic bits, they look even better when covered with a strong team colorway.
