Upcoming Mercedes-Benz EQE Interior Unveiled

The SUV Version

A new addition is on its way for the Mercedes-Benz family of electric vehicles. The EQE SUV has yet to make a public appearance as of yet. But the German manufacturer recently unveiled a few photos, showing off the new model's cabin. Due for a debut in just a few weeks, the new EQE has been expected to be a taller, sport utility version of the sedan.

Brand Homogeny

The overall design is just about identical to the EQE sedan. The brand has made an effort to bring homogeny to its product line, making sure every car with a Mercedes-Benz enjoys the exact same level of attention to detail as the others. Plus, with the advancement of interactive technology, it becomes increasingly easier for Mercedes-Benz customers to stay Mercedes-Benz customers.

Hyperscreen

As such, the main styling theme of the dashboard, an extended wing shape, is also present inside the EQE SUV. Aside from establishing a visually strong appearance, this design also lends itself nicely to the available Mercedes Hyperscreen. This option allows the entire surface to serve as three screens. One stands in front of the driver, one in the center, and one for the front passenger.

Cabin Space

The SUV's interior space also shares the floating center console design with the sedan. In terms of size, the EQE occupies a similar segment as the gas-powered GLE. In contrast to the larger EQS SUV, which comes with three rows of seating, the EQE will be limited to two rows. 

Established Trend

The covers will come off the new EQE SUV on October 16th. All we have so far on the new model are these photos of the interior. We don't think anyone will be surprised about the looks of the exterior. The established trend tells us the EQE SUV will have a very similar aesthetic to the other members of the company's electric EQ lineup.
