X Class Dual Cab 4x4 EXY Kit Turns Up the Aggression

Pickup Design has unleashed the X-Class EXY Extreme kit on Australia that revamps the German pickup into something you'd expect to see in the new Hobbs and Shaw movie. The luxurious but tough dual cab ute is a feisty off-roader with the design to break necks of those who reside in the land of the down under.  

This thing is crazy

The EXY Extreme package adds a Pedders suspension lift kit that raises the Merc up an extra 30mm for improved visibility. Metal side steps are in place to aid ingress and egress for passengers. The new wheels are 18-inch alloys wrapped in Black Bear mud terrain ready or all-terrain off-road-ready tires.

Very cushy

For the cabin of the EXY, there is Nappa leather and Alcantara upholstery throughout the interior. Carlex Design, known for outfitting yachts and exotic vehicles, created the interior scheme. There is also a custom steering wheels, a numbered plaque, and special floor mats.

I wonder how these will sell?

Buyers will also get a hardened front bash plate, hood lip, wheel arch extensions, and headlight frames with an LED light bar up on the roof. The rear end of the pickup gets a stylized sailplane which is backed up by a revised rear bumper with wrap-around body moldings.

Well at least it looks the part.

Customers can also order a special v8 exhaust system which has the ability to modify the note via a smartphone app. The exhaust note could make other folks believe that there is something crazy going on under the front hood but the truth is that there are no changes to be had for the 3.0-liter turbo diesel V6 engine. 

There will only be 250 EXY Extreme kits offered globally with one having been purchased already in Australia. The X-Class EXY kit costs just $50,000 and stacked on top of the what an X-Class pickup would cost you.
