Help on lowering the CLK55

I'm planning to change the CLK55 stock spring to an H&R spring. It'll lower the front by 1.0 inch and .9 inch on the rear (according to H&R specs). I'm still using the 17 inch monoblocks and will plan the change to 18 in the near future. Although the tires have been changed to 235/45/17 for front and 255/40/17 at the rears. Will this rub on the fenders? I really appreciate.

Was planning to change the pads from 4 to 2 in the front and from 3 to 1 in the front. Will it still rub?

I doubt it'll rub...I'm running #2's all around (My car started out with #3s in the front and #2 in the rear)

2 front and 1 rear should be fine. As your shocks wear down, you may begin to have slight rubbing. That will be the sign that you need aftermarket shocks such as Kleemann or Koni.
