why would the M class to be the first to have this motor? thats pretty dumb in my opinion.

(i didnt read the whole thing so correct me if im wrong)

If I remember correctly it was the ML that 1st got the 6.2 AMG motor back in 2006. So maybe the TT AMG will go in the ML 1st again

Maybe they just want to use the ML as the "Test Mule"??

It will be M276 (V6), M278 (V8 Twin-Turbo @ 450 hp) & M278 AMG (V8 Twin-Turbo @ 550-600) all with Direct Injection..
M278 is already resting in USA in S-class..

BMW is doing the same thing with the M X6 and M X5 and their new TT motor. It's a mystery to me.

So much for the end of the horsepower war eh??

Great news! and since it's a turboed engine it will be underrated most likely as we see that from most boosted engines and especially boosted ones coming out of AMGs Factory.

It won't affect availability to us as long as we are willing to pay the gas guzzler tax.

Now Mr. LOL might raise this tax to where it would not sell here and then they would be gone. But it would really have to go up from the 2-3K tax it currently is.

as it currently stands u have one of the cheapest cars markets in the world.

You have nothing to whine about when you are comparing what you guys pay to some of the poor EU or far east countries for these cars

no pon intended, just stating an observation

it is coming with W212 E63 after face lift , say by 2013 maybe

but however, it will come whne the new CLS arrives in 2012.

i saw some sketches and first pictures of the new CLS, it looks way nicer and hot.

the new E is just ugly and cheap from inside.

so i think my next upgrade will be to the whole new CLS63
