i was gonna install an aux cable but found out that Mercedes took out the middle piece that connects the aux cable to the HU.. so I opened it up to see if there's hidden cables behind the HU.

another reason of this DIY is to help anyone who wants to remove their HU on the faclifted model but unsure of where to begin.

thanks to this forum I was able to perform many things on my ride. I hope my DIY is just as helpful as the ones that have helped me.

also, Metra 99-8712 is the radio trim kit that will fit any 05+ w203, it comes as single din so you will have to mod out the pocket for a double din HU.

No, I am pretty sure that we are missing the cable that's in between the HU and the AUX cable. I will look into it later.

There's always a way...it's just that your wallet has to be as big as your wish to make it happen.

Hello, new to this forum

I bought the aux audio cable today, without fully researching the installation.......... It's for a 2007 c230.... couuldn't find the white harness on the passenger side... did you have any further luck determining if it is possible to add in the missing wire??
