Exclamation Blinkers, temp gauge, wipers

Hey I'm an old member here but haven't been on in a long time and can't remember my old login. Anyway here's my problem: 1994 E320 blinkers don't work, temperature gauge shows temperature for first couple minutes then slowly turns off, wipers don't work on lowest setting. I'm thinking they're all related. I checked fuses and they seem ok. Is there anything else it might be? I really have forgotten how to fix this thing because it never has any problems lol. Any ideas welcome.

My outside temp display did the same thing, I replaced the display in the dash and all was well. A few years back I also had the same issue with my turn signals, wiper and rear defrost. Does your rear defroster work? The LED in mine would light as is it were working as I pushed the switch but I soon as I released it it would turn back off. The culprit was this guy http://cobbbuzz.com/photos/displayim...lbum=179&pos=1. The black box in the picture, you can view the previous and next pictures in the album to view its location relative to the other stuff in the rely box. I took the module apart and traced the problem to a broken solder joint. I resolder it and havent had a problem since. You can buy a new one here, http://www.autohausaz.com/search/pro...nation%20Relay. I remember ready from a few sources that the solder breaking is common in these things.

Hope this helps you.

Combination relay? I think I may be having a weird but related issue with my blower motor....it won't turn on (on bi-level high fan speed setting) until I flick the right blinker it makes me chuckle every time

Most likely the combination switch (turn signal switch).

Are you referring to an actual switch or the combination relay?

I also have the problem with my wipers on the lowest....Except its really intermittent. Sometimes it works and some times not.

Where is the relay located? I can't seem to get my bearings from the picture... I'll give a shot at resoldering it.

In the pictures it is the smaller of the two black boxes. It is located in the rear of the fuse box, you have to remove six screws and lift the lid off.

Perfect! Never taken that lid off...that would be why I couldn't figure it out
I'll give it a shot...what the heck right?

....well maybe not until the rain in socal stops! Wouldn't want to have non-working wipers in this heavenly downfall.
